First things first... What is Job's Daughters?

Job's Daughters, as you've probably learned from the main site is a youth organization for young women between the ages of 10 and 20. Membership is open to all of those with Free Mason ("Masonic") heritage.

Within the organization, members make many new friends across their state—even across different countries and continents! In addition, while the main focus of Job's Daughters is to instruct young women on the finer points of how to run a business meeting, organize a fund-raiser, and develop leadership and public speaking skills, members also take part in monthly fun events called "socials. " (A few examples of past socials include: horse-back riding, bowling, and state-wide sleepover)

A girl need not be 10 to apply to join Job's Daughters. In anticipation of joining, a prospective member can become a "Jobie To-Be," and take part in socials and fun events.

What is the Jurisdictional Bethel?

As a member of Job's Daughters, you may have heard of other states having what is called a Grand Bethel. A few years ago, Delaware also had a Grand Bethel. Unfortunately, because the number of Delaware's Bethels and members has dropped significantly within recent years, we have lost our Grand Bethel Charter (meaning, the right to have a Grand Bethel). Rather than leave the Bethels of the state without guidance, the Jurisdictional Bethel was formed. It is basically the same thing as a Grand Bethel, in that it oversees and is there to assist the Bethels of the state, it just doesn't have some of the privileges of a Grand Bethel.
